Peer review process

Proposed articles are submited to two members of the Reviewing Committee, formed by peer reviewers. In the event of a discrepancy of opinion between the two peer reviewers, a third reviewer will be invited with a decisive criterion. The decision of approval, revision or rejection will be communicated by the editor to the author. In case of rejection, the editor will send to the author the results of the evaluation form with the suggestions of the peer reviewers regarding the improvements that could be applied to the article. If it is accepted, the article is reviewed in its editorial format and then for Advisory Committee.
The maximum time elapsed between the arrival of the article and the first response from the reiewers is 6 months. Likewise, the time between receipt of the article and its publication is one year, although this may be extended depending on the final approval. The dates of receipt and approval of the article appear at the end of each article, with the exception of bibliographic reviews and In Memoriam.
The entire peer review process is carried out through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for automation of editorial management.
